Hi, I’m Babul, and I so am excited to see you here at CookerReview!
I was a teacher by day and a cook by night. I always knew that I am not cut out for a typical 9-5 work. So, I took my hobby and made it into a full-time job, and I am glad it turned out to be a success.
Besides cooking (and eating!), I have a deep love for music and traveling.

The Story
Growing up, we visited our grandparents every weekend. Our grandma was a natural cook. She used to prepare some super delicious dishes, which were surprisingly easy to cook. She is the main reason for my passion for cooking.
At 17, I started my first part-time job as a dishwasher at a local family-run restaurant. Whenever I was free, I would go up to the chef and watch her cook. The owner who noticed this, gave me an opportunity to assist the cook. This is how my journey as a cook started.
I started CookerReview as a personal blog, which I would sometimes share with my family and friends. With time I realized that sharing recipes isn’t enough to help someone learn cooking. Having accurate knowledge of what utensils to use for different types of dishes was equally important. So, I started reviewing cookware and writing about them in my blog.
